Artist's Description

Inishtooskert is the most northerly of the six Blasket Islands of the Dingle Peninsula. Its name translates simply to Northern Island. As its seen from between Slea Head and Sybil Head the island like a sleeping giant or a dead man. An Fear Marbh is the Irish for the Dead Man. There is a dark tale regarding the last human inhabitants. I'll leave that for another day.
This was taken near the end of August 2019. Weatherman promised a sunny sunset. Nearly but not quite however sunset here never fails to lift my spirits.
